• Winter Florals •

I am still so in love with this dress from It is formal, comfortable, and one of a kind. I don't often encounter dresses that are "throw it on and go" kind of dresses. You usually need a slip, added sleeves, and possibly added length. This is so modest and absolutely beautiful as soon as you put it on. One of the easiest outfits for a Sunday morning when sleeping trumps struggling to get dressed and look presentable.

Thanks again Apostolic Clothing. You're my Favorite!!

• Yes •

If I had to pick only one word in the English language to be my favorite, I would have to say it is "yes" that one, simple, one syllable word gave me the world. "Yes" gave me so much more then I could ever ask for and the opportunity to see everyday just how blessed I am. #YES ❤️ #clothedinglory #isaidyes #weddinglory #inspiteofitall #mrsspite #engagementshoot

• Ladies, Ladies, Ladies •

I can't begin to express my thankfulness for these wonderful, strong, prayerful women that I can call my friends. Through it all, there is always someone praying for me; and that my friends, is the best miracle.

Trouble corner for us during the ladies prayer and fellowship. We had a wonderful evening of food, laughs, and wedding chats.

Love them with all my heart.

• Future Mrs. Spite •

In Spite of it all, I am so incredibly blessed. I don't know what I did to deserve a man and family like I found, but I'm so glad I did. Yesterday I said yes to the most amazing, godly man I know. He far exceeds my wildest dreams and every prayer.

When God is in the center, you have no choice but to have an amazing, abundant life filled with love and joy. I can't wipe this smile off my face

"don't know how but he did it. Made a way."

I will have so much more to come as I get busy planning our big day and I'll be doing a new series of posts on modest bridal and bridesmaids fashion. Join me as I get ready to marry my love!

• #NannyLife •

I have the best job in the world, caring for three lovely children. David is the baby of the family and his big blue eyes and chunky cheeks make him irresistible.

Penelope, Magnolia, and David are the kiddos that make my days busy, my nights tired, and my car filled with crumbs and car seats.

I love my #NannyLife

• Messy Buns are the Best •

When in doubt and don't know what to do... A messy bun is the choice for you.

I've never pulled my hair slicked back like this since getting contacts so I looked like a completely different person to most people. I got a lot of comments saying I was a distraction Durring church because there was a familiar feeling but no one knew who I was.

• Sunsets and the Bay •

• On the rock, in the sun, with you on my mind • Today was a day of sunshine, organs, and toe tappin' music. I've learned that bridges are never burned and the sun always comes through the crowds. #atthebay #clothedinglory #sunsets #jamesbay #nlacountryjam

• Walk On •

I've learned to never burn bridges, but walk on in faith that the one who created me, will keep me and guide me.
The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever.
So "walk on through the valley,
Walk on up the mountain,
Walk on through the wilderness
if you're ever going to make it to the promised land walk on."

• My RAE of Sunshine •

Natalie Rae is a lovely example of a lady. From the inside she shines God's love and favor wherever she goes. I am so blessed to know her and incredibly miss her in the months apart. BUT we always take our OOTDs while we're together.

• Camp OOTDs Are My Favorite •

Camp was filled with so many things, some of which: pin curls, bell sleeves, and curling irons.

• Perfect •

• perfection in God, not in flesh • He has made all his creations perfect. The sooner we stop denying God in who He has made us, the sooner He will have the freedom to work and use us to the FULLEST extent of His perfect will for His perfect children. If you deny God in saying he made a mistake in you or you are not perfect, it is as good as calling Him a liar and He therefore can't consume all of you because you are withholding His power from being applied to EVERY area of your life.

• Send the Rain •

We pray for rain. Rain we used to despise and dread, that is the rain that will bring the harvest. We've been praying, we've been sowing, now we're crying "heaven send the rain." We are ready, hungry, and waiting for the rain. The rain that was once viewed as a trial, and a bad season is now what we are praying for. We realize that it is what makes us one with God. One with the one who wants to save every person we know. Those seeds are being planted, the rain is coming... And the sunshine will definitely help.

• "What does FLEEK mean" •

Casual days and floppy hats are a great mix. I found this tulle skirt for $12 and couldn't pass it up. White is fun to play with and figure out different combinations so I went with my "always on FLEEK" top and a jean jacket. Strappy sandals have been a favorite and I can't say enough T about my floppy hats.

• Madison & Marie •

This lovely lady exhibits both holiness and sass... What a lovely combination. Time for a choir practice OOTD!!! #modestootd

• Watson •

• perfection in God, not in flesh • He has made all his creations perfect. The sooner we stop denying God in who He has made us, the sooner He will have the freedom to work and use us to the FULLEST extent of His perfect will for His perfect children. If you deny God in saying he made a mistake in you or you are not perfect, it is as good as calling Him a liar and He therefore can't consume all of you because you are withholding His power from being applied to EVERY area of your life.

Watson was more incredible then I could've hoped. Prayers went forth to make this trip full of anointing, love, and memories and God came through yet again. Every word fit together flawlessly and the people that were all gathered together in one mind and for one purpose, made Watson a place of revival. Chains were broken, eggs were broken, and rocks were skipped...All in the name of Jesus!!

• I'll show you your future •

•Chase the sun with me
Run with me
Come and feel the freedom in the breeze
Chase the sun with me
It's one with me•

When you find someone you can run in the sunshine with, keep them. I can't tell you how precious it is to have a godly and shameless lady in my life I can do absolutely anything with. Countless hours have we spent together over the years and I wouldn't trade one memory for the world. Admirers accumulate and we always "JUAN" food, but we will brave the elements together and with a little help from the sun, we will make it though. #kendrason #cokeandpepsi #iminlovewiththatsun #duggars #anotherdayanotherslay #dunkindonuts #juan #frumpysisters #clothedinglory #therock #thatbread #anklegrabbers #obsessed #modestfashionblog #sunshine #sunshinegurl

• In the Sun •

Does the sun promise to shine?
No, but it will,
Even behind the darkest clouds it will.
And no promise
will make it shine longer or brighter,
for that is its fate,
to burn until it can burn no more.
So, to love you is not my promise,
it is my fate,
to burn for you until I can burn no more.

• Home is with you •

I had a dream last night... I was in my church standing on the platform alone. Everyone was gone after church on a Sunday afternoon. I took a few moments to walk throughout the sanctuary and my mind was flooded with memories and events that molded me, all taking place in that one location. I was to move the next day to start a church and that night was to be my last service at home. I was overwhelmed with emotion and I remember crying. Not out of saddenss or reluctance, but purely out of leaving the people and the effortless move of God in every single service that I have received life from. I knew in my heart that this was Gods will so I was at peace in the reality of following him, but home was something I took for granted, and now was to leave.

I want to be quick to follow God's will in my life. No matter who I have to leave or where I have to go. Maybe in reality I WILL have to do something similar to my dream and maybe it won't be as easy of a move as Watson (where we were to start our church) but no matter what, come what may, I am his and he, and his ways are perfect.

• More Like You •

Today I realized just how important certain people in my life are to me. Ones that have raised me, cared for me, love me, and see me through are the ones I honor today. I was called to pay tribute but ended up being added to greatly by the words of ones that I hold dear. I am nothing without them and the love of God shed abroad. I owe my entire life, present and future to them.

Mother's Day is here and I am reminded of the love of Christ for his body. The church is the mother of us all and there is no lack for motherhood in his kingdom. Even if you don't have an earthly, biological mother in your life, look around and find the nurturing care of the church. You are loved beyond comprehension!!

•Move me, more like you. Hold me, bring me close to you•

• Fringe •

Blazers are beautiful things and I've fallen back in love with them lately. Fringe is so intriguing and unique, it makes for a one of a kind outfit.

• Blue Blazers & Sequins •

I had been looking for a blazer for a while that is tailored and comfortable to wear. I found one at Marshalls and it fit the bill entirely. I love the color... "grey blue" is my favorite and it is perfect for a transitional piece between winter and spring. It's very well made and I am so glad I found it during convention.

Sequins are always a "yes" so I couldn't resist this skirt at Forever 21 on clearance for $14. It looks so elegant and classy while being unique and fun.

• The Sun •

Sunday was a time of remembering how beautiful it is to be content. Free from distraction and worry, consumed with the love and beauty the sun brings. I am entirely too blessed for words and I couldn't imagine my life without the people I love most that serve God right beside me and live above this world.
•he's the sun that shines through her clouds when the skies are grey. He's the one that whispers "it will all be okay"• #iminlovewiththatsun

• You Know My Way •

God has a plan. A lovely symphony that shall sound like angels and in flawless refrain. The harmonies when heard alone sometimes sound off, incomplete, and wrong. But together it rings true. A glorious sound.

• Floppy Hat Status •

I was so excited to see my lovely friend Natalie at convention this year. I missed her and all of my girls from Syracuse so much and I couldn't leave without capturing the floppy hat moment we shared. It's the best thing to have friends miles away, yet connected by a common love for God and his body. She is absolutely beautiful in every way.

• Praise Breaks & OOTDs •

Friday night is usually the night for sequins, tulle, florals, pin curls, you name it. So we stuck with tradition and dressed to the nines. It was a wonderfully powerful service where the heels were kicked off and we weren't afraid to jump and praise out hair down. That's us alright. Praise goes up, hair comes down.

• NYD Youth Convention 2016 •

Miracles, signs, and wonders shall follow those who believe... and we believe. This year's convention was like no other, the spirit was powerful and the presence was fresh and lingering. Never before has move my and unity been so intertwined in the body of Christ. There are no words to describe the divine and supernatural occasion convention was, In the spiritual realm as well as the fellowship and connection to the body we experienced for several days. I grew closer to God and to his church. I would not trade these past few days for the world.

Love you abundantly,
~ M A D I S O N
